av Anders Jahre, Sandefjord. Sjøsatt 10/06, levert 04/07.
Sesongen 1930/31 satt inn som fangstbåt for kokeriet FRATERNITAS
i Sydishavet. Skytter var M. E. Davidsen.
1931 Produksjonen for sesongen 1930/31 ble 84.293 fat. Kokeriet
lagt opp i Mefjorden (Sandefjord) fra sommeren 1931 til sommeren 1936.
Hvalbåter også lagt i opplag.
1932 I opplag under sesongen 1932/33.
1933 Opererer som fangstbåt for PELAGOS i
Sydishavet sesongen 1933/35.

E. Larsen), Durban, Sør-Afrika. Omdøpt til UNI I. Slettet i det
danske register 22/06.
Startet fangst sommersesongen 1937 syd for Madagaskar sammen med 5
hvalbåter og kokeriet UNIWALECO (ex FRATERNITAS).
Fanget for kokeriet UNIWALECO sesongen 1937/39. Hele
ekspedisjonen forlot Durban 01/11 med kurs for Sydishavet.
1938 Driver hvalfangst på Madagaskar også denne sommersesongen.
Produksjonsresultat meldes å bli 55.264 fat hvalolje. Av dette var 1.291
fat spermolje.
Deltok i fangst i Sydishavet sesongen 1939/40 med kokeriet
UNIWALECO og 5 andre hvalbåter. Fangstbestyrer er Thomas Hansen.
1940 Resultatet av sesongen 1939/40 ble 41.244 fat hvaloje og
1.922 fat spermolje. Kokeriet sattes i regulær tankfart på de alliertes
side.
Rekvirert i august av den Syd Afrikanske marine til krigstjeneste.
1941 Tatt i bruk fra 20/03 som minesveiper. Omdøpt HMSAS
SPRINGS T 38.
1945 Tatt ut av tjeneste 20/07.
1946 Tilbakelevert til eierne 07/05 og tilbakestilt som hvalbåt.
Får tilbake navnet UNI I.
1947 I fangst for landstasjonen The Bluff i Durban.

det ble slynget mot kai i Cape Town. Kondemnert. Senket ved Robben

Built as whale catcher TAS I by Moss Værft & Dokk, Moss for
Fraternitaskompagniet A/S., Copenhagen, Denmark. Manager by Anders
Jahre, Sandefjord. Handed over to the owner 18/09-1930.
The season of 1930/31 served as whale catcher for the factory
FRATERNITAS in the Southern Seas. Shooter was M. E. Davidsen.
1931 Production for season 1930/31 was 84.293.
The factory is laid up Mefjorden (Sandefjord) in Norway in the timeframe
from summer 1931 to the summer of 36.
Catchers also laid up.
1932 Laid up during season 1932/33.
1933 Operating as catcher for factory PELAGOS in the
Southern Seas season of 1933/34.
1934 Operating as catcher for factory PELAGOS in the
Southern Seas season of 1934/35.
1935 Laid up.
1936 The factory is taken to the yard of Gøtaverken AB,
Gothenburg the summer of 1936 to be constructed with a slipway. TAS I
still on storage.
1937 Sold to The Union Whaling Co., Ltd (A. E. Larsen), Durban
21/06 for £12.000 and renamed UNI I. Deleted from the Danish
register of shipping 22/06.
Catching during summer season 1937 south of Madagascar together with 5
other catchers and the factory UNIWALECO (ex FRATERNITAS).
The whaling fleet participated also in pelagic whaling in the Southern
Seas the season of 1937/38. Left Durban 01/11 heading for the whaling
ground.
1938 Whaling off Madagascar also this summer season. Total
production results reported to be 55,264 barrels of whale oil. Of this,
1,291 barrels of sperm oil.
Participates in catch in the South Sea season 1939/40 with the factory
UNIWALECO and 5 other catchers. Whaling manager was Thomas
Hansen.
1940 The result of the season 1939/40 was 41,244 barrels of whale
oil and 1,922 barrels of sperm oil. The factory is hired as regular
tanker on the Allies side.
Requisitioned in August by the South African Navy (SAS) for warfare.
1941 Taken into use from 20/03 as minesweeper. Renamed HMSAS
SPRINGS T 38.
1945 Decommissioned 20/07.
1946 Returned to her owner 07/05 and restored as whale catcher.
Get back the name UNI I.
1947 Catching for the shore station The Bluff in Durban.
Catcher for factory EMPIRE VICTORY (ex UNITAS) in the
Southern Seas the season of 1947/48.
