Clyde med kurs for Hull, England 26/05. Ankom Methild Roads, Scotland og
går derfra 29/05 og ankom Hull 01/06. Kommando heist 01/09
Omdøpt til KNM GRIMSTAD (FY-1956) med norsk besetning på
25 mann. Tjenestegjorde fra 14/09 som minesveiper i 2.
minesveiperdivisjon i Engelske kanalen under engelsk kommando i området
Plymouth, England til Falmouth, Cornwall.
1945 Løst fra oppdraget med Royal Navy i januar.
1946 Returneres til eierne i januar. Det gamle navnet KOS XV

Built as a whale catcher KOS XV at Smith’s Dock Co Ltd., South
Bank, Middlesbrough for Hvalfangerselskapet Kosmos II A/S (Anders
Jahre), Sandefjord. Launched 05/05-1932. Delivered in June.
Served as catcher for the KOSMOS II expedition in the Southern
Ocean season 1932/33.
1933 Whale catcher for the KOSMOS II expedition season in
the Southern Ocean season 1933/34. The shooter was Carl A. Hansen.

Went from Pernamboco with course for Trinidad 10/09. Arrived at Trinidad
18/09 and went on 26/09 for arrival Halifax 05/10.
1941 Crosses the Atlantic and arrives at River Clyde. Going from
River Clyde with course for Hull 26/05. Arrived at Methild Roads and
left there 29/05 and arrived at K. Humber 01/06.
Renamed KNM GRIMSTAD FY-1956. Served as a minesweeper in the 2nd
minesweeper division in the English Channel in the Plymouth area to
Falmouth.
1946 Return to owners in January. The old name KOS XV is
being used. Participates in whaling for joint hunting with SIR JAMES
CLARK ROSS season 1946/47.
1947 Catches with KOSMOS III in the 1947/48 season.
Shooter was Anders Sunde.
1948 Bending boat for KOSMOS III in the season 1948/49.
The shooter was Hans Sand.
1949 In the summer, whaling with ANGLO-NORSE participates
in Madagascar, and in Antarctica as a catcher with KOSMOS IV the
1949/50 season. The shooter was Jannis Skontorp.
1950 Last season in as Norwegian catcher for ANTARTIC in
the 1950/51 season.
1951 Sold to Compania Industriale de Valparaiso, Chile. Renamed
INDUS X.
